CHILDREN’S CHURCH

Each Sunday
During the 10:00 a.m. Service
In the Children’s Cottage and/or the Meditation Pavilion

The Center’s Children's Church provides a wonderful program for children (infants to teens) that focuses on enhancing self-esteem, teaching spiritual principles, and awakening creativity. Different groups are designed to meet the changing needs of young people as they mature. In addition, a nursery for those three and under is available at the 10:00 a.m. service. If you would like to help by serving as a Sunday teacher or teacher assistant with the children, please contact Bonnie Lantiegne, Children’s Church Coordinator, at 530-722-7304.

We request that all parents fill out a registration form and photo release form for their children to make sure that we have updated information for all our students. Print and fill them out, then bring them with you when you attend services again. Thank you. Download the registration form. Download the photo release form.

Traditional Hatha Yoga is a holistic Yogic path, including disciplines, postures (asana), purification procedures (shatkriya), gestures (mudra), breathing (pranayama), and meditation. The Hatha Yoga predominantly practiced in the West consists of mostly asanas understood as physical exercises. It is also recognized as a stress-reducing practice that attempts to balance body and mind. Asanas teach poise, balance and strength, and are practiced to improve the body’s physical health and clear the mind in preparation for meditation.
